Established in 2005, the Environmental Watch and Management Institute (EWMI) is the brainchild of its Founder, Dr. Dilip Kumar Deka, a renowned environmentalist and seismologist, committed to promoting environmental conservation, earthquake awareness, disaster risk reduction, renewable energy, community resilience and sustainable development.
EWMI undertakes research, awareness programmes, education, training and community-based initiatives in the areas of Earth Sciences, Water Management and Renewable Energy, with a focus on practical solutions and community participation.
